Richard Kind operated from the Brayford Pool in Lincoln and in 1861 was the master of the "Elizabeth", berthed at Honeywell Colliery Wharf in Barnsley.  He died 12.1.1871 from phthisis.  Richard and Penelope are buried in Canwick Road Cemetery, Lincoln.
